Notes: I drove north and climbed the final grade to a ridge top. In the distance under low storm clouds stood the Republic. I could see the snow line which ran just south of the power plant. That's Baseline Road for you out of towners or others who have shipped out for more interesting precincts. My neutral coast down the long curving grade would of got a smile out of Dean Moriarty. But Dean would of never let me drive cause he was a competent cross country chauffeur. If I hit all green lights I can make it to the digital speed sign at the city limits, but not this morning. Wet roads slow the roll.

Today's show built decorous sets of music referencing a mix of classic oldies, singer songwriters, rare traks and even a clinker (trak 16). How the route could lead through Calexico via Pelican to The Beatles is the art of the DJ's mind.

Post show at the Rio Grande warmed the winter landscape to a tolerable level. This long Thanksgiving weekend was approaching the EOTR. One final salute of tequila and that was it.

See you next week. Check the Denver/Boulder concert scene.
