Notes: Tonight's pleasant mix of music was in part to the presence of guest DJ and aspiring music addict Danny. Danny introduced me to some new artists including Audrey Auld Mezera, John Doe, The Red Stick Ramblers and Kathleen Edwards. I did my part with the Link Wray recommendations. Uncle Jeff had gone shopping and picked up some decent LPs... The Lonesome Valley Singers and The Flying Burrito Brothers.

Uncle Jeff ran the boards and kept the herd moving while Ukulele Loki MC'd a big top performance somewhere east.

I especially enjoyed Richmond Fontaine's version of, "White Line Fever."

Concerts to check out; Son Volt, June 19 at the Fox Theatre. The Hacienda Brothers, June 22 at the Skylark Lounge. John Doe and Luca, June 29 at the Lions Lair
